She has provided strategic and creative services to help win elections at every level of the ballot in more than 40 states for a quarter-century. An acclaimed progressive leader and innovative strategist, Lisa was awarded a Powerful Ideas Transformational Talent & Leadership Award as the 2023 Direct Mail Consultant of the Year.
Owner & Strategic Partner Rosetta Okohson (she/her) brings experience working on behalf of dozens of candidates and causes including the Sanders and Warren presidential campaigns, St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones, The National Democratic Training Committee, and the Missouri Democratic Party. She has provided strategic leadership on Moxie accounts since 2018.
Owner & Creative Partner Marybel Olivares (she/her) leads the political direct mail industry as a bilingual creative professional with decades of design experience. She has produced winning direct mail programs for Moxie since 2014, won numerous political advertising awards including Addys, Pollies, and Reeds, and made measureable impact in elections up and down the ballot.
Owner & Production Partner Henry Underhill (he/him) oversees the production and delivery of all Moxie mail flights, working in partnership with a longstanding national network of union vendors. He has managed the firm’s production pipeline since 2002.
Accounts Supervisor Rachel King (she/her) is an award-winning direct mail expert who has provided strategic leadership for Moxie’s federal and statewide IE programs for three cycles. She brings deep experience in political persuasion and mobilization programs.
Owner & Managing Partner Emma Tupper (she/her) has produced winning direct mail programs on behalf of progressive organizations and campaigns at Moxie since 2010, including the League of Conservation Voters, Hub Impact, The Impact Project, and others. She brings deep expertise producing award-winning mail with proven impacts in controlled experiments, and leads Moxie’s Accounts Team.
Operations Supervisor Sierra Schmitz (she/her) has supported Team Moxie and our clients with seamless operations since 2020. She is the architect and manager of our proprietary operating system that aligns and tracks all data points of our direct mail programs.
Senior Principal Rebecca Lipson (she/her) has worked on the frontlines of high profile candidate races, including the Obama, Clinton, and Warren presidential campaigns, managed state legislative and congressional campaigns, and served as Assistant Political Director at UFCW.
Senior Principal Mike McCollum (he/him) previously worked on the Obama and Clinton presidential campaigns, and served as a state director for Warren’s presidential campaign, a congressional campaign manager, caucus director, and political director for a national organization.
Principal Vivienne Kerley-de la Cruz (she/ella) previously worked as the Georgia State Director for Planned Parenthood Southeast and on behalf of Warren for President and several state Democratic parties. She values expanding language access and prioritizing cultural competency.
Principal Eli Presberg (they/them) has produced direct mail programs for three cycles at Moxie on behalf of candidates, caucuses, and ballot initiatives. They are passionate about using experiment-informed tactics to maximize program effects.
Principal Aaron Thomas (he/him) brings three cycles of political direct mail experience on behalf of the ACLU and NEA, as well as Biden for President, Human Rights Campaign, and members of the Michigan Senate Caucus.
